Rescue Me ID: 17-10-11-00130Trooper (male)

Sussex Spaniel Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

NOTE - Courtesy Post - please contact the owner listed below to inquire about adopting this dog: Trooper is like family, but deserves more than we 'older folks' can give him. He's got to run, run, run, and play exuberantly with other dogs. This little Houdini needs a large fenced yard. He's curious, smart and learns quickly. He usually listens to commands and always comes back when called. Trooper is 18-24 months old, 24 lbs, a true Heinz mix. Very intelligent and teachable, so I will only let him go to someone who can spend quality time to train this youngster. Defensive at first, Trooper attaches to 1 or 2 dominant, yet gentle people. ... (Read More)Once he does, gives lots of kisses and just wants to be near you. He is leery of new people and will bark defensively. Therefore, a quiet household is preferred. A very happy and social dog, Trooper must have dogs to play with. He is active, yet submissive. He gets along well with my cats, just teases them from time to time. A real hoot and oh-so-precious. Neutered and up-to-date on shots. Interview, meet-and-greet, and home inspection required. $85 rehoming fee. If you have a quiet home with another dog(s), please email Susan at namastesmc@gmail.com (Less)
